Ahmarra use FSC® certified timber to manufacture our doors and frames
As a leading timber fire door manufacturer, Ahmarra only use wood that is legally logged and from responsibly managed forests. All of the timber we use is certified by the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®).
To ensure this, we have implemented our own independent tracking systems, which have been audited by Exova BM Trada, to meet the requirements of the FSC® and PEFC Chain of Custody (COC) schemes. This process also safeguards trees that are on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) list.

Ahmarra have achieved ISO 14001 environmental certification
We are BS EN ISO 14001 certified. This means we have a strictly monitored environmental management process, which involves keeping minimising waste and using comprehensive recycling techniques. We also try to keep noise pollution to a minimum, particularly outside of business hours.

Ahmarra re-use timber waste to fuel our factory’s bio-mass boiler
As part of our environmental management process, we use all waste wood to fuel our boiler, which heats our factory and provides process heat.

Ahmarra reduce CO₂ emissions at every opportunity
We take every care to minimise any adverse effects our production process has on the environment and as such endeavour to reduce CO₂ emissions into the atmosphere where possible.

Ahmarra offer a recycling service for protective packaging

Integrated into our daily working practice, every effort is made to dispose of waste correctly, which is why we provide a recycling service for our protective packaging at no extra cost to our customers.

Ahmarra support a Hampshire-based woodland regeneration scheme
We have supported a local woodland regeneration scheme for over five years now, making a donation to the scheme every time a door ordered by our customers. As a result, thousands of trees and shrubs have already been planted in Stansted Park in Hampshire.
