Ahmarra manufactured and installed in excess of 900 high quality timber fire doorsets, as well as providing a bespoke joinery service, as part of a major refurbishment at the prestigious InterContinental Hotel. This landmark 5-star hotel is prominently located on Hyde Park Corner.
The £3 million contract was awarded by the main contractor, John Sisk. The project involved supplying and installing hotel fire doors for standard rooms, superior rooms and suites. The doors – selected from our Hotel Door Range – featured a variety of stylish wood veneers, including Cherry, Walnut and Maple.
In addition to the doors, Ahmarra also provided luxury vanity units with marble tops, wardrobes, boxed skirting and boxed window surrounds, as well as skirting to corridors on eight levels of the hotel.
Ahmarra have a long standing relationship with John Sisk which includes working with them on other hotel projects such as The Royal Garden Hotel, The Gatwick Hilton, The Churchill Hotel, The Four Seasons Hotel (Canary Wharf) and The St Gregory Hotel in Shoreditch.
