Current Vacancy: Administrator Apprentice
About the role:
The Administrator Apprentice will assist our Sales & Project Management teams and will learn many aspects of the business:
- Create door set quotations
- Learn technical knowledge of fire door, ironmongery and construction components
- Learn sales techniques; how to negotiate and create best opportunity to obtain order commitment
- Support with general administration duties
- Follow up on quotes using sales techniques.
- Reporting system errors for continued improvement
- Log orders/losses on system to ensure high level of customer service
- Updating technical information relevant to fire door certification
- The apprentice will learn about the construction industry and all aspects of door manufacture from enquiry through to invoice.
What are the career prospects at Ahmarra Door Solutions?
There will be good progression routes available for the apprentice upon completion of the apprenticeship. This can include project management roles within the company, and management positions are attainable for the right person in the future. Gain transferable skills within the manufacturing industry; the apprentice will learn all about the manufacturing industry and all aspects of the business from enquiry receipt through to order.

It is essential that the Administrator Apprentice has the following skills and personal qualities:
- Good communication skills

- MS Office knowledge
- Accurate data input
- Confident telephone manner
- Commitment to the full 15-month apprenticeship
- Excellent timekeeping
- Keen to progress
- Eager to learn
- Organised and articulate
- GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C / 4
