Bespoke Doors
Ahmarra works very closely with architects and interior designers to meet their requirements, allowing flexibility in design while retaining comprehensive fire certification in accordance with Building Regulations. Our ability to supply doors using laminate, metal or specially selected matching veneers, presents designers with a wide range of themes and possibilities.
Product Ranges
Our many years’ experience of manufacturing timber doors has led us to produce a number of sector specific product ranges to include Education, Hotels and Artisan Panelled doors for luxury homes.
To aid specification our ranges of pre-defined doorsets offer a simple and practical design solution, whilst still allowing for options for facings and finishes enabling the specifier to tailor the design to their requirements whilst still meeting certification and Building Regulation requirements.
Developing Doorset Standards
We specialise in working with clients who recognise the importance of developing doorset standards throughout their facilities. Significant client cost savings can be made by eliminating the need to redefine doorsets and ironmongery for each new project. We offer intelligent advice on how to make this process cost effective, simplifying what can be a very complex issue.
Our expertise in developing doorset standards for airports has been extended to similar specifications such as rail stations, schools, hospitals, offices and commercial properties and we are currently working with a number of clients to develop their standard door ranges.
Our customers include British Airports Authority, Gatwick Airport Limited, British Telecom, Marks & Spencer and Network Rail, who we have worked for in conjunction with 8 out of the top 10 leading UK construction companies.
Our Production Facility in Havant
As a leading manufacturer of fire door solutions, we believe in maintaining the traditions of our craft by preserving the skills and value of time-served, traditional bench joiners, whilst utilising the very latest technology in design and production methods. This way, our customers get the best of both worlds. We are proud to fly the flag for UK manufacturing.
Due to growing demand for our bespoke doors, Ahmarra moved from Portsmouth to a new purpose-built facility in Havant, Hampshire. Over 5 million pounds has been invested in the production facility and its machinery so far, with the objective of producing engineered fire doorsets in an increasingly more efficient way. The building’s design also enables us to achieve our sustainability goals and reduce the impact we have on the environment.
