We are Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) accredited, which means our vehicles are well maintained and our professional delivery drivers follow industry best practice procedures.
Delivery Service Requirements
Before delivering to your site, we will ask you to complete a ‘Delivery Questionnaire’, so you can let us know if you have any specific requirements we need to account for, such as delivery time slots, vehicle type, access restrictions etc.
Deliverables:
• Factory Fitted Ironmongery
Our doorsets are typically supplied with non-projecting ironmongery factory fitted as standard.
• Single Doorsets
Single doorsets will be delivered as pre-hung doorsets, which means they are supplied as units with the door leaf pre-hung in its frame; including hinges, glazing system (glass, seal, bead & fixing), fire seals (if required) and ironmongery.
The doorsets are stacked and braced in quantities of 8 to 10 per pallet.
• Double Doorsets
Pairs of doors will be delivered as separate door leaves with flat packed frames for ease of manual handling on site.
• Architraves and Stops
Architrave and stops will be palletised loose for site trim and fit.
• Ancillary Ironmongery
Ancillary ironmongery will be boxed in bulk and palletised for site fitting.
• Smoke Seals
Smoke seals will be supplied loose for fitting post-frame decoration. Please ensure the correct tolerance is allowed prior to fixing the stops.

Protection in Transit and On-site
Ahmarra’s standard is to wrap the product in biodegradable bubble-wrap and deliver it on pallets (made from sustainable re-purposed waste wood) that have been braced, ensuring they’re fully protected and secure in transit.
Fire rated Proplex corrugated protection sheets can also be applied at works as an optional extra. These sheets allow the door to function correctly prior to removal on site.
FORS Accredited
Ahmarra are Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) accredited, which means our professional delivery drivers follow industry best practice procedures and our vehicles are maintained and inspected to the required standards. The FORS scheme has enabled our drivers to improve their road awareness, journey planning, loading skills and knowledge of current transport legislation, maximising efficiency and minimising the risk of accidents. It has also resulted in environmental benefits, with a reduction in carbon emissions due to more economical driving practices.
Moffet Truck Delivery Service
Ahmarra offer an in-house moffett truck delivery service. Ideal for sites that may not have a forklift available, we can unload and manoeuvre your fire door deliveries at your site using our moffett fork lift.
