Supporting Local & National Charities

Ahmarra organise a number of staff fundraising events throughout the year for local and national charities. Our recent charitable activities have included;

  • Lunchtime BBQ & cake sale, quiz nights and fun runs with all donations match funded by Ahmarra.
  • Ahmarra host our annual Christmas Jumper Day and ask staff to donate items for a chosen foodbank to help local families during the festive period. We also donate surplus wood generated during our manufacturing process to local foodbanks for use as kindling for heating.
  • Timber off cuts have been donated to a local school for use in their woodwork classes. Inspiring the next generation of joiners, pupils use the wood to practice making joints and creating craft items.
  • Ahmarra recently donated doors and ironmongery to a community hub in Cosham.
  • Ahmarra are pleased to support Hayling Community Christmas Lunches, and our staff volunteer their time at the festive event. The event aims to reduce social isolation by providing companionship for residents who may otherwise have spent Christmas alone.
