Ahmarra has developed a range of secure internal apartment entrance doorsets. Secured By Design (SBD) approved, these doors are certified under the BM TRADA Q-Mark Enhanced Security scheme and meet PAS 24: 2016 standards.
Our security doors are also certified under the Q-Mark Fire Door Manufacture scheme, and are available with an FD30 fire rating. These dual certified security and fire doors provide peace of mind that the people, property and assets within the building are protected from opportunist thieves, vandalism and attack, as well as fire.
Specified by architects, contractors, housing developers, local authorities and leading social housing providers throughout London and the South East, these doors have been installed in a range of homes – from luxury apartments through to sheltered housing.

What is Secured By Design?
Secured By Design is an official police initiative that’s purpose is to improve the security of buildings and their surroundings, by incorporating crime prevention measures at the design stage. The initiative has achieved significant success, including one million homes built to Secured By Design standards with reductions in crime of up to 87%. All Secured By Design housing developments require entrance doors to have third-party security certification.
Ahmarra are a Secured By Design licence holder. In order to achieve independent, third-party certification, Ahmarra submitted sample doorsets for primary testing to a UKAS accredited testing facility. The tests conducted demonstrated the door’s ability to resist intruder’s attempts to use stealth to gain entry to PAS 24 test standards. Third-party certification ensures doors not only meet stringent security standards, but continue to be manufactured to a consistent quality through regular audit checks.

Ahmarra have manufactured and installed thousands of enhanced security entrance doors, as well as fire-rated communal area, store room, office and riser doors for residential buildings.
We have manufactured and installed doors for Southampton City Council in tower blocks throughout the city, as part of an award-winning social housing fire safety upgrade project. We have also manufactured stylish entrance doors for luxury apartments such as Parliament House and The Pentagon.
