Two looks in one design

Currently in production are these stunning internal doors for the Kingsway Hall Hotel in Covent Garden, to be installed by Ahmarra Installations.

These bespoke doors offer two looks in one design. The internal room facing side has a distinctive Tabu Bolivar grey veneer, whereas the external hallway side has a rich dark walnut veneer facing. Our colour matching service meant we were able to create an identical grey stain for the door lipping. The uniform finish achieved by veneers ensures there are no knots, warping or splitting as can happen with solid wood, yet still offers a very natural look.

As well as having aesthetic appeal, these doors are FD30 fire-rated and made from FSC® certified timber. They also have an acoustic rating of 32RwdB – perfect for a restful night’s stay.

The Kingsway Hall Hotel is currently closed for refurbishment, and promises to be ‘an innovative and design-led property with enriching experiences available for its guests’ when it reopens later in 2019.
