Southampton City Council Win ‘Fire Project of the Year’ at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2020

Southampton City Council partnered with Hampshire Fire and Rescue, as well as specialist contractors like CLC Group, to implement a multi-million pound fire safety upgrade of the city’s high-rise and high-risk flats, including those for the most vulnerable residents in the community. As a result, Southampton City Council won ‘Fire Project of the Year’ at the Security and Fire Excellence Awards 2020. Ahmarra, who were sub-contracted by CLC, are proud to have manufactured and installed the fire doors, riser doors and screens for communal areas, as well as the enhanced security entrance doors for this project.
