Danny Fowles, Ahmarra’s Project Director said, “Ahmarra is very proud to have been selected to both manufacture and install the fire doors by the main contractor, Morgan Sindall. The Innovation Centre is a great asset to the local economy and workforce and as Ahmarra is also based in Hampshire, it was an honour to form part of this landmark local project which was completed both on time and on budget by Morgan Sindall”.
The project has been developed and funded by Fareham Borough Council and supported by £2m funding from Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) from HM Government’s Local Growth Fund.
The new space provides 3,400 square metres which include 33 new offices, five new workshops and spacious new conference facilities. This adds to the top of the range facilities and support already provided at the Innovation Centre for new businesses, especially those in the engineering, aerospace, aviation and marine industries.
