Our standard doorset design configurations are detailed below. They are available as single or double action. latched or unlatched and with or without vision panels. Glazing above doorsets (fanlights) is available above all door configurations – single doorset (S), unequal pair doorset (UP) and equal pair doorset (EP).

Ahmarra Manufactures Fire Doors for the Renovation of Rowans Hospice

Ahmarra manufactured Q-Mark certified FD30s fire & smoke rated doors and glazed screens for Rowans Hospice. Part of a refurbishment project, the renovations focused on creating a comfortable and homely environment that prioritises wellbeing and promotes a sense of tranquility. Set in the countryside, the hospice’s new interior design fosters a connection with the natural environment that surrounds it. Organic tones and textures have been used throughout, and the building has been optimised to enhance the flow of natural light. Designed to complement this theme, the internal fire doors and frames feature the warm timber tones of American white oak crown cut, vertical grain wood veneer.

Ahmarra Manufactures & Installs NHS Hospital Fire Doors for New Endoscopy Unit

Ahmarra recently manufactured and installed Q-Mark certified fire doorsets for an NHS hospital’s new Endoscopy Unit. The new unit will provide additional treatment rooms and recovery areas, increasing capacity and reducing patient wait times. The Trust opted for doors with an enhanced fire and smoke rating of FD60s, providing critical time for staff to assist in the safe evacuation of patients in the event of a fire.
